A significant difference between the PxP-2100/2150 and the PxP-2300 is the control panel design features.

See the attached pictures of each model, in which you can see the different control panels.

The PxP-2100/2150 uses a MMI (Man Machine Interface) which is a more modern and capable, yet a less expensive combination of components.

The control panel used by the PxP-2300 has it's origins in the design employed by Phoenix on the semi-auto machines before they developed the current PxP-2100/2150 design.

The PxP-2300 control panel features an all push-button, selector switch, etc. design that provides for an opportunity to add extra controls for other options that require additional control devices.

Some options available for the PxP-2100 / 2150 mandate an upgrade to the PxP-2300 control panel to accommodate.
